Spirit EMS has specialized bariatric stretchers and is on standby around the clock,
seven days a week, and every day of the year. This stretcher is designed to
accommodate patients up to 1500 pounds, significantly more than the standard
ambulance stretcher, which typically supports up to 700 pounds. To guarantee the
utmost safety and comfort for patients, the stretcher is equipped with an extra-wide
mattress, which is often utilized depending on the patient's requirements.
