BLS Ambulances are staffed with a minimum of two EMT-Basics. These units are ideal for routine doctor appointments, hospital discharges, and transport to and from dialysis and wound care treatments for patients requiring a stretcher. Our Basic Life Support ambulances are also equipped with trained personnel able to provide immediate interventions and treat patients in the time of emergency should the need arise. All Basic Life Support units are equipped with oxygen and a few other basic medications to treat patients including an automated external defibrillator in the event of a cardiac arrest. These units are also equipped to monitor patient blood glucose levels.
