This stretcher is rated for patients weighing up to 1500 pounds. A typical ambulance stretcher is rated for patients weighing up to 600 pounds. Based on the patient’s need, the extra-wide mattress found on this stretcher is oftentimes used to ensure the highest level of patient safety and comfort. Based on limited availability, this service is offered on a first come first serve basis.
