Spirit Medical Transport
provides a wide variety of services to meet the needs
of our patients and clidents. We provide 2 levels of ambulance
cov erage. Basic Life Support (BLS) trucks are staffed by
at least 2 state certified EMT-Basics. BLS
ambulances provide basic patient care, such as oxygen. We also provide
Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances. ALS ambulances provide such care
as cardiac monitoring, IV medication drip maintenance, advanced ventilatory support and medication administration. ALS ambulances are
staffed with 1 state certified EMT-Paramedics
and 1 EMT-Intermediate or EMT-Basic.
Spirit
Medical Transport also provide ambulette transportation. Ambulettes
provide wheelchair bound and mobility-impaired patients
a safe and cost-effective means of
transportation to and from medical appointments. Ambulettes are staffed by
a driver who is certified in first aid and CPR.
Spirit Medical Transport
also maintains contracts with Passport, Job & Family Services and Hospice.
Our fleet consists of
7 ambulances, 5 wheel-chair vans, 4 mini
vans and 2 utility vehicles, so generally whatever your
transportation needs may be, we should be able to meet your demands.
